What you believe to be true and your perception of your circumstances in life is based on what you have been taught to believe. Your belief system was developed by family, friends and teachers you have trusted and surrendered your will to believe. If you have been taught something that is false and you have accepted it as absolute truth, you will guard and protect the lies you believe and reject any fact or evidence that reveals the truth. Deception is a powerful force that is very difficult to overcome. Individuals who have been deceived are convinced they have secret knowledge of the truth and become an irrational fanatic when their beliefs are questioned. They will fight to defend what they believe and try to infect others with lies through intimadation. God’s Promises to every believer is Absolute Truth and Final Authority.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
Fear, worry and doubt are the names of evil spirits that can oppress and torment the uninformed and unprotected mind. These spirits can plant thought images into your mind and distort your ability to distinguish a deceptive illusion from factual reality. Their captivating presence results in a mental paralysis that hinders you from taking immediate action and making the correct decisions when necessary. This leads to overwhelming anxiety, chronic depression and habitual procrastination, which magnifies the problem. Failure to act and remedy the cause reinforces a stronghold of greater fear, worry and doubt until you give up hope for a better future.
